Kuwait in the 1980s

Here are photographs taken by Dennis Sylvester Hurd, when he lived in Kuwait in the 1980s and taught at Al-Bayan Bilingual School. I found these photos through the twitter thread of Asseel Al-Ragam

This Kuwait Times article discusses how the architecture of the 1980s in Kuwait is disappearing, notably the Salam Building in Salmiya, the Kuwait Airways Building, Bayt Lothan, and Sawaber.
