In March of 2022*, I participated in a workshop entitled “Hawally Bound,” organized by the Promenade Culture Centre and In Narrative. We learned the basics of block printing and collaborated to create a, “a cultural map of Hawally shedding light on various routes, nodes and connections running through the city.” Here are some photos of the process:
